  Network Specialist/Oracle DBA Required
 
Orient Petroleum International Inc. a leading multinational E&P Company is seeking a high caliber professional for Network Specialist/Oracle DBA position. The preferred candidate should be Graduate in Computer Science/IT with at least three years of relevant experience.

Requirements

Desired Qualification:

The applicant must be able to perform the following duties:
  • Well-versed in LAN/WAN support, hardware/software maintenance and database management.
  • Practical knowledge of Security Procedures and implementation of Firewalls.
  • Management of Window NT, Windows 2000, Lotus Domino Email, Linux, Solaris, Web, Proxy, FTP and other Servers.
  • Web Page development and Hosting, Flash, PHP & HTML.
  • Concept about VSAT and Digital Radios communication. Manage Cisco routers and DSL modems’ configuration.
  • Wireless LAN, Structured LAN and Power Cabling, Maintenance of Plotters, PCs, Printers, UPS/Stabilizer and other related equipment.
  • Well versed in Solaris, Linux, Sun Server installation and other multi-users systems.
  • Should have knowledge of Network Security, automated backup procedures and optimize network traffic.
  • Should have worked as Oracle Database Administrator.
  • Capability to administer Database for Oracle ERP solution and other oracle-based systems.
  • Can handle the implementation of Database / Applications Security Procedures, in order to prevent it from unauthorized access.

    Added Qualification:

  • Should have knowledge of Oil and Gas E&P sector technical applications/systems.
  • Good command on VSAT and Radio communication.
  • Should be well versed in data migration between Oracle Applications and other systems.
