Naimat Basal Facility

OPII has established gas/condensate processing facility at its Naimat Basal field, located in Khipro concession, near Tando Adam, Sindh Province . The Facility was required to process the gas from new prospects in Khipro Block and to meet the country's gas requirements. The facility produces its own power and other utilities. A produced water disposal facility is being installed at Naimat Basal to treat the water and dispose in Naimat North disposal well located 4.5 Km from Naimat Basal.

LPG Recovery and Condensate Stabilization Plant:

An LPG Recovery and Condensate Stabilization Plant (relocated from OPII's Northern facility at Dhurnal) was installed at the Naimat Basal Facilities. Sales gas compressors have also been added to pipe the sales gas. The plant was designed by a US firm Petro Fac Inc. It is a Propane Refrigeration system having a design capacity of 230 MT LPG per day. The additional features of plant are a condensate stabilization unit, a large chilled water system, hot oil circulation system and gas compression for low-pressure gases. The erection and installation work of the plant was completed in March 2005 and it was commissioned on April 15, 2005 . The field development plans are continuing with the enhancement of gas processing capacity and the up gradation of LPG plant. These efforts will further enhance the LPG production.

OPII Gas (Pvt.) Limited, a related group company of OPII, was established to market LPG to domestic and industrial sectors. The company has established its own storage and filling facility at Dhurnal and the area distribution network.

Kauser facility:

At Kausar, Mirpurkhas Block, OPII has established a gas / condensate processing facility to process the discoveries in the Mirpur khas concession. The processing facility consists of a liquid / gas separation unit, a gas sweetening and dehydration unit including associated camp and utilities. The condensate storage / shipping facilities are installed along with all necessary utilities. A produced water disposal facility is being installed at Kauser to treat the water and pump through a transfer line in Toba disposal well located 6.5 Km from Kauser.

Umar Facility:

Umar processing facility is located in the Mirpurkhas concession near Tandoalayar. The facility consist of three-phase separation, well head gas compression and crude oil storage and shipping and Utilities. A 35 Km 6 inch diameter pipeline is laid to transport well head gases to Naimat Basal facility for further processing and LPG recovery.

Pipeline Network:

Pipeline network has also been installed in both Khipro and Mirpurkhas concessions to connect the various wells to the processing facilities and export the sales gas to the SSGCL network.

Dhurnal Facility:

Dhurnal is located 80 km South West of Islamabad . OPII has seven wells in its Dhurnal Concession. Two wells are in production with one well sustained by gas lift operation. One well is used for produced Water disposal. Dhurnal Oil field generates its own power. A produced water treatment and injection facility is also installed at the facility.

Ratana Facility:

Ratana Facility is located 130 km South West of Islamabad in the Ratana Concession. It has two wells in the concession. The facility consists of three-phase separation, condensate storage / shipping and produced water handling. One of the well has high H2S contents. The gas is treated at POL's facility at Meyal whereas condensate and produced water are treated at Ratana to remove H2S.

Bhangali Facility :

Bhangali facility is located 50 Km South of Islamabad in the Soan Concession. It consist of three phase separation, gas processing, crude oil storage / shipping and water handling facilities.
